Follow the steps below to turn off active status on Facebook:
1. Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Open the menu by selecting the 3 horizontal lines.
3. In the menu select Settings & Privacy then select Settings.
4. Select Active Status in the Privacy section of the settings.
5. Now just toggle off the switch to turn off your active status on Facebook.
