How to Set up iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro

iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 12 Max can all be set up the same way.

You simply press the power button on the right side of the phone and go through the initial set up of your iPhone.

You can set up a new iPhone in two ways. You can set it up as a brand new phone or you can transfer all your information from an older iPhone.

I'll walk you through both processes in this video.

If you are coming from an older phone, you have to make sure that the new phone has the same iOS system as the old phone or a newer one. For example, you can't come from iOS 14.2 to a new iPhone with iOS 14.1 with the transfer method, but you can set it up as a new iPhone.

You can also back up your old phone with iCloud and set up your new phone with the iCloud backup option.

Just a quick note. Your new iPhone only comes with a lightning cable and not a power adapter or headphones. You'll have to purchase those separately.
