Command to delete Windows 10 hibernation file: powercfg -h off
Follow the steps below to free up storage space on Windows 10 PC or Laptop:
1. Right click the Windows 10 start button and select Settings.
2. In the settings search Storage and select Storage Settings.
3. Select Temporary files.
4. Select your desired temporary files to delete such as cache, update files, thumbnails, or recycling bin.
5. Select Remove files and close the settings.
6. Open command prompt by first selecting the Windows 10 start button then type CMD.
7. Right click Command Prompt and select Open as an Administrator.
8. In CMD type: powercfg -h off
9. Hit enter.
10. You have now saves several GBs of storage on your computer.
