If the iPhone keeps dimming even though the auto brightness is turned off then let us see some of the things that we can do in order to fix the issue. The first thing that we will do is we will restart our iPhone. Sometimes restarting the iPhone fixes many of the minor issues. Now the next thing that we will do is we will manually increase the brightness. Maybe the brightness is too low. So go to "settings". Go to "Display and brightness" and make sure to increase the brightness if it is too low. Now the next thing what we will do is we will disable an option called "Reduce white points". So go to "settings". Go to "Accessibility" here. Go to "Display and text size". Scroll down and there is an option here "Reduce white point". If you enable it and if the intensity is maximum you can see the iPhone screen is automatically dim. So make sure to disable this option. Now the other thing that we will do is we will disable night shift option. So go to this "settings" again. Scroll down. Go to "Display and brightness" and here there is an option "Night shift" which is right now scheduled. So make sure this option is turned off so that the screen brightness will not be affected. Again go back to "Display and brightness". Go to this auto lock make sure that it is not 30 seconds otherwise the iPhone screen will lock and it will dim very quickly. Now the other thing that we can do is again we will go to "settings". We will scroll down. We will go to "Face id and passcode". Now let me enter the passcode. Go down and there is an option here "Attention aware features". Make sure that this option is turned off. Now the other thing that you have to also take care is if the iPhone is very hot then the brightness of the iPhone will be dimmed automatically so as to reduce the temperature. So make sure that if your iPhone is hot then make sure the temperature of the iPhone gets lowered down so that the brightness of the screen will increase. So do all of these things and hopefully it should fix the issue
