I made this short video to show the amount of power used by a macbook pro circa 2021 (14" model) with the m1 max chip.

The laptop is amazing in terms of power usage... and just sips electricity on usage.

The laptop uses an 85w power adapter... and that is mainly used for when it needs to quickly charge the battery on this laptop.
