Finally, after 2 months I got this machine done and ready to share! I know it's been a long time, but I think it was worth waiting. I hope you like it!

Using Apple Shortcuts, two phones and Siri, I managed to create a simple link between Siri and Lego Mindstorms EV3. It took about a month to build, code, and film.

This machine sells an Apple Watch (Series 4) for 500€, AirPods (2nd gen) for 250€, and an iPhone XS Max for 1500€. You make your order by saying what you want to Siri. You can mix between all the options on a single order. It's just a matter of adding additional voice commands to the Apple Shortcuts app.

The mechanism explained: First, you say what you want. Then Siri says back the custom phrase: "You selected [product]. That would be [price]. You can use the contactless payment now." Then it shows a color to the color sensor. If you selected AirPods, the color is green, on Apple Watch it's brown and on the iPhone, it's white. That way the Mindstorms EV3 knows what you want. Then it will start waiting for the money, which is in this case the black screen. When the other phone comes nearby, it activates the Apple Pay function on the iPhone, and the color sensor notices it. Then the machine will give you the product you ordered. No money is really transferred to anywhere.
