Good For the $$$? Beats Studio Buds vs. Apple AirPods/AirPod Pro's

Given the price point, the Studio Buds are good deal. We'd take a pair of a normal set of AirPod's...but against the AirPod Pro's? That's a tough choice. Here's our recommendation: Go with the Pro's if you can afford them, stick with the Studio Bud's if you're on a budget!

We've been using the Studio Buds in the office, at home and at the gym for the last few weeks and generally, if they were priced any higher, we wouldn't recommend them.

On paper, the features that set the Studio Buds apart is the ANC which is something the regular AirPod's do not have. So if you need the ANC, go with the Buds. The Studio Buds are friendlier to use with Android devices as the headphones do not come with a H1 chip found on the AirPod's.

When compared to the AirPod Pro's, the biggest difference on paper is the Spatial Audio. Watching movies with the AirPod Pro's is an immersive experience because of all the sensors. It's just not the same with the Studio Bud's but what can you expect for something that's about 40% cheaper?

In real life, we found putting the buds into the charging case annoying. With the AirPod's, it's easy to grab them by the base of the buds but the symmetrical design of the Studio Bud's is annoying to deal with.

Aaron didn't have any issue using them while working though people who can't stand in-ear headphones will not like it as much.

When working out with them, we found that the Studio Buds stayed in our ears a little better but nothing in this video works as well as the Powerbeats Pro at the gym.

Phone calls and transparency mode were usable on the Studio Bud's but wasn't as clear as the AirPod Pro's. This won't matter unless you're comparing both products side by side like we've done BUT now you know!
