You can filter out SPAM messages on the iPhone by putting messages into four folders:

- All Messages
- Known Senders
- Unknown Senders (this will include SPAM messages)
- Unread Messages

You also get to see messages which you have Recently Deleted.

To filter out SPAM messages, Go to Settings on your iPhone, and then scroll down to Messages.

Scroll down to "Filter Unknown Senders" and toggle it to On.
