"Sturdy design, easy to assemble, easy to use. The one big design issue is that the hydraulic cylinder heats up with use, and offers less resistance as a result of thinning of hydraulic fluid.
I did not find this to be a show stopper - I compensated by rowing faster. The problem could be mitigated by putting cooling fins on the cylinder, and perhaps blowing air over the fins with a small fan.
The Efitment website may have a problem processing warranty claims. The hydraulic cylinder broke, and I submitted multiple claims on their website with no response.
