In todays video we take a test drive in the Polaris Slingshot! This has been a bucket list vehicle to experience and we finally did it! I'm not exactly sure what you would classify the Polaris Slingshot as, it could be a motorcycle, trike, open top vehicle, but it's something cool! The exterior on this Polaris Slingshot is basically for cosmetics and is very funky looking! It's a unique vehicle especially having three wheels! The interior is pretty simple, you have a backup camera which is nice, a radio and that's it! This is a toy you just hop in and go for a cruise! I would recommend wearing a helmet which would give you more protection from the wind and you could wear a headset to better listen to music or communicate with your passenger! It's an open top experience just like a motorcycle. So if you are past the motorcycle life, or haven't ridden before and are more comfortable in a vehicle, this is a great option! All of the what I'll call first generation Slingshots are manuals, but the newer generations offer an automatic so you have the choice between the two!
As far as how well put together this Polaris is...it's what you would expect for the price and type of vehicle it is. The plastics are what they are, and you get a fun "cheap" car! It handles well for what we could do, and would get very tail happy with one rear tire! If you want basically a street legal gokart for the road, this is a great option!
