Debug-enabled KaiOS phones - QUICK VIEW (codes and models) of the simplest devices for developers

Here is a brief overview of what you need to know about these devices before you start using our guides. This video will list only the good debugging-enabled KaiOS phones, as required by the open source nature of the operating system.
I thank the respective owners of the following devices for the feedback provided.

Debug-enabled devices are the easiest to use for developing applications and studying KaiOS system behavior. The use of codes is a feature that belongs mainly to those models powered by two chipsets, Qualcomm and Spreadtrum:

- on Qualcomm-based KaiOS phones just dial the debug code *#*#33284#*#* and a bug icon should appear in the task bar above, which allows you to use ADB and DevTools;
- on Spreadtrum-based models dial the debug code *#*#33284#*#* and also add the code *#*#0574#*#* to enable USB debugging from a menu.

Note that many Qualcomm models (such as the Alcatel 4052x series and Doro phones) can use ADB, but not WebIDE as USB debugging is disabled by default. KaiOS is a new operating system for ARM chipsets, running on a Linux kernel. It is written in Javascript, HTML and CSS and is oriented towards smart feature phones. In fact, it works well on 512 MiB of RAM or less. Some of the most popular KaiOS phones are the Nokia 8110 4G, 2720 Flip and 800 Tough, Jio Phone, Positivo P70S, Orange Sanza and other new Energizer phones.
Kaiostech recently partnered with Mozilla, the creator of Firefox OS and the Gecko engine on which KaiOS is based.
