In this video we build out a cheap NVMe external storage solution for M2 Mac minis, MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Studios, and even Windows PCs. Using the OWC Envoy Express Thunderbolt Certified NVMe Enclosure (model: OWCTB3ENVXP00) we create a 1 TB external storage solution by paring it with the WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD. OWC claims this enclosure can get over 1,500 MB/s reads and writes and we find out how fast this is with a real world speed test on the enclosure and SSD.
