In this video, I stay local and hike up Notch Hill in Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. Notch Hill is home to a rare biodiversity of plants and trees native to southern Vancouver Island. In this episode, I concentrate on photographing Arbutus (Madrone) trees. As beautiful as the snow is I find it challenging to photograph.
