This is a review of the iPad 9 as an upgrade option in 2023. You may have given your iPad 8 to a family member, intending to sell it, or buying an iPad for the first time. With so many options, such as the iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad 10, and the still available legacy iPad 9, I choose the cheapest of the four options and I couldn’t be happier.

I am still able to run Davinci Resolve, LumaFusion, Korg Gadget, Canva, and all my favourite production apps. The only exception is the absence of true extended display support from Stage Manager but frankly, for the price difference, I’ll just use a laptop for that.

This video is shot and edited entirely on this iPad 9 that I am reviewing.
