From http://billsklodowski.com - Our latest iPhone "What's New Wednesday" video. A lot of big changes are coming in the next major iOS software update, expected before the end of the year. You know those "widgets" that you never remember to use? They're located on the first page of apps on your iPhone, even before the regular main page.
Well, now those widgets and other collections of apps will be available on any of the various "pages" of your iPhone! You can group apps in several different ways; Most recently downloaded, by specific function, etc.
Most importantly, you'll be able to create and place widgets on any screen. That means you can have a bigger, easier to read Calendar, or Clock, or collection of pictures...and have them right there on the screen for you to use and enjoy!
In addition to the news on the latest iOS update, this video also includes some great tips on how to stop apps from bugging you to "Please review our app!" Yes, you can turn that off... we'll show you how.
Also, you can turn off the iPhone feature that automatically "offloads" apps when you don't use them for a long period of time. That'll prevent that annoying "Re-Installing" message you get when you try to open and use an app that hasn't been tapped in a while.
