Reviewing Asus' ROG Phone 5, testing the game performance, battery life, killer features and optional accessories - is this really the best gaming smartphone of 2021?

I've been testing the ROG Phone 5 for a few days now, with top Android titles like Genshin Impact, Vainglory, Call of Duty, PubG etc. Check out my unboxing for a closer look at the camera features and specs, but here's a proper benchmarking of this gaming beast.

While the previous gen smartphone missed out on a UK launch, the ROG Phone 5 will be released here in March 2021 for a price starting from 799 Euros. You can upgrade the memory to 12GB and storage to 256GB for 899 Euros, while 999 Euros bags you the 16GB/256GB model. There's also a ROG 5 Pro model and an Ultimate model, which I cover at the end of this review.

Asus has slapped on a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh and 300Hz touch sampling, plus stereo speakers. And you get all the usual gamer phone features like Armoury Crate and Air Triggers.
