If you want to mirror your Apple devices screen to HDMI-compatible monitor or TV you'll definitely need Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter.
It allows you to watch iPhone or iPad screen on big TV with almost no latency which is an advantage comparing to AirPlay.
My concern about this adapter was either it works together with Lightning to 3.5mm Audio adapter same time. Results of my tests you can watch in this video.
