Even though Apples #WWDC21 did not feature the new #Apple Glass, we hacked together a "working prototype" of how to get a bit of Apple Glass before its even released. In this video we show you how to connect the new #Nreal Light Glasses to your iPhone using only a couple of adapters.
It's far from perfect but it shows the potential of AR glasses when used with an iPhone.
The technology used in this video:
1. Nreal Light glasses (Depending on your region you can get them either from nreal.ai or - if you are in Germany - buy them from Telekom or Vodafone)
2. Apple iPhone 12 Pro - this also works with nearly any other iPhone that has a Lightning connector and supports video out
3. Official Apple Lightning to HDMI adapter connected to
4. A DeLink HDMI to USB-C Adapter.
5. Because the conversion needs extra power we are using a portable battery pack that connects to the DeLink adapter as well.
