Apple has launched three new products at its 'One More Thing' event--a new MacBook Air, new Mac mini and a new 13" MacBook Pro. All three run on Apple's in-house SoC, called the M1. It's Apple's first SoC for Mac devices, built on a 5 nanometer process, and houses a Unified Memory Architecture. The M1 houses an 8-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, along with a 16-core neural engine that claims to perform up to 11 trillion operations per second. On the I/O front, it supports Thunderbolt and USB4 speeds, using which both the new Mac mini and MacBook Pro can support Apple's Pro Display XDR at 6K resolution. With 8GB of unified memory on the base model, the new MacBook Air starts from ₹92,900, the new Mac mini starts at ₹64,900, and the new MacBook Pro starts at ₹1,22,900. All three devices will be available to purchase in India from 17 November.
