During the 4th of July weekend, we spent our days off in Lexington, NY. We initially thought it was going to be cold and rainy the whole weekend, but the weather turned out to be better than expected (still cold, but not as much rain). We visited 3 farms, walked the Pratt Rock Trail, learned about the Ashokan Reservoir, and finished the weekend off with a bang thanks to a beautiful fireworks display. We got ice cream and ate so much delicious food, legit all day everyday.

It took us about 3 hours to drive to Lexington from NYC. Depending on where you’re coming from, this is a great location for a weekend getaway!

P.S. We do not recommend the Superhero ice cream flavor (silly me), but the Georgia Peach was A+ (No, we don’t know whether they get their peaches from Georgia)
