To be fair to apple, I didn't mention the included magic mouse (£99) and keyboard (£99) with the iMac (see my alternative peripherals below). Also, bear in mind that software optimization is something that often works in their favor when benchmarking PCs against Macs. But does this all justify a doubled price tag and the inability to upgrade?
