2. From there, tap "Purchased", then "My Purchases" to find your application directory for all the iOS apps you previously downloaded.

3. Search for "Fortnite".

4. The application should appear, and clicking on the cloud icon will start the download process.

You should know that performing this operation will return the application to your home screen and make it available to run as soon as it is updated at least for the time being.

And the trick works even if any Apple Family Sharing plan member downloaded Fortnite on iOS in the past.

Given Apple's action to remove Fortnite from the App Store and then Epic threaten to terminate its inclusion in the developer program, it's a good idea to put Fortnite back on your iOS device if you're interested in keeping it.
