DJI Phantom 4 Pro Stock UV Filter versus ND8/ND16 Comparision Video

» My ND filters for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro finally arrived and I figured this was a good opportunity to do a video demonstrating how these filters can help lower your shutter speed on bright sunny days which is useful when shooting video.

A guide for film making is that you want your shutter speed twice that the frame rate you are shooting in (24fps/48shutter) and this is the most common camera setup for movies/film.

However even with the added aperture control on the DJI Phantom 4 Pro camera it is still not possible to slow your shutter enough because there is too much light entering the sensor. It is really noticeable coming from the DJI Phantom 4 where I would not need more than an ND16 but here on the P4Pro I think I will need an ND32 or even a ND64.

Coming up soon will be some testing of the Polar Pro Shutter Series filters and some direct comparisons between those and the DJI ND filters.

Happy days!
