My Written Review
I hate bug bites and am always looking for ways to drive mosquitos away. I love that this repellant is odorless, unlink bug sprays and various bracelets and things that use a scent to deter mosquitos. It gives off an ultrasonic sound wave that mosquitos don’t like rather than a scent. It is very small, light-weight and portable and can clip onto your pants or sit next to you on a table. Because it is the sound that keeps bugs away, this can be effective as a repellant for multiple people sitting around it.
The device is powered by one AA battery- which is not included. The ultrasonic wave is a very high pitched buzzing sound that may be rather irritating to you when used inside. If you are using this outside where there is no ceiling above you to reflect the sound back to your ears it is not very noticeable. The first night that I used this I turned it on inside and the sound was driving my husband crazy- he was trying to find out what it was and where it was coming from…as soon as I went outside it wasn’t noticeable at all and I found this product to be very effective. I have used this while gardening (in the evening, even) and got no mosquito bites. (And I live near a lake so there are a lot of mosquitos around.)
I think this is great. I will wear this clipped onto my pants or sitting on the table on my porch and can finally sit outside and enjoy summer evenings on the porch without being driven in by mosquitos when the sun is going down. The ultrasonic wave is perfectly safe for children and pets. If you are bothered by the scents in most repellants this is an excellent product for you- I would strongly recommend that you try it. Because it is not based on odor, it is long lasting. You simply have to replace batteries. Please see my video for a more detailed look. Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest opinion.
