How to Install Ram in Asus Laptop Q301

This is an Asus Vivobook Q301 but other models would be similar such as I think the S301L, S301LP etc. I will show you how to upgrade the ram which should take no longer than 5 minutes. The thing with this laptop is you need to take off the whole back cover. This laptop came with 6GB and I upgraded the memory to 8GB total as I believe this is the max for this computer.
There is 4GB on board and a 2GB in the only memory slot. I will take out the 2GB and replace it with a 4GB so i can get a total of 8GB. I originally wanted to upgrade to 12GB but I do believe the max is 8GB and even if I were to install with a 8GB memory stick it would then override by 4GB onboard memory. Correct me if I am wrong.
Other then that this 2GB upgrade did help out my video editing program by a good margin, not perfect but I be able to prolong my laptop for another two more years or so. Let me know if you need any help.
